Faith-Based Live Action Role Playing for Adults 18+
LARPing club, including events, ditch battling, sparring, and role-playing games.
Each time we meet, we will be ditch battling using boffer swords or LARPing swords. Sometimes this means we have magic and sometimes it’s melee only. We incorporate fun games also like capture the flag, zombie apocalypse, and more. We especially utilize tactics using the terrain of the park we will be playing in.
Each month we have a Live Action Role Playing time where we act out our story line. This year we will be focusing on one-shot parables of the Bible set in a world like Lord of the Rings/Narnia.
Devotionals written by Dana will be made available on the portal for members to enjoy and be inspired by.
If the weather is bad, we will enjoy a role playing game system we are developing called StoryWeavers Role Play (SRP). This is a simple but exciting faith-based RPG system that utilizes the same world we use in our LARPing. We use the website Scabard.com for the games.
